The Name
Elovium is a name shaped by the language of materials and geology.
The ending -ium echoes the names of materials such as titanium and aluminium — materials that form the physical foundation of Elovium.
The name also draws inspiration from eluvium, a geological term describing material shaped through weathering and the removal and movement of matter.
This idea reflects the philosophy behind Elovium: rather than adding complexity, we explore what can be created by removing what is unnecessary. Through algorithms and additive manufacturing, material is placed only where it is needed, allowing complex, organic structures to emerge.
